Introduction

Running a supporters’ club has its challenges, one that doesn’t require a membership fee, even more so. One that has multiple ongoing running costs due to the additional level of content we provide…well you get the idea. I can categorically say we will never grow large enough to compensate our volunteers for their time, but if we could stop having to ask them to reach into their own pockets to the tune of hundreds of pounds a year – then that has to be our goal.

What is Patreon?

Some of you may be familiar with Patreon, and if you are, that’s great. You’ll probably understand why we’ve expanded to this space. If not, then allow us to sum it up: Patreon is a place where you can support your favourite creators with a financial contribution in exchange for additional perks as a reward. Rather than simply ask for donations, this way we are able to give something back to those who are in a position to help us out as we continue to grow the community. You can subscribe for as little or as long as you like – as it works on a monthly rolling basis with no ongoing commitment beyond your current term.
