Not content with going after Chelsea players, we’re now signing talent from Barcelona! Hold your horses though, it’s just a one year loan – for now at least!

This seems a bit of coup from Brighton to attract a player who has genuine pedigree at the best team in Europe. It is only a loan though – she has two years left on her current deal – so if she does well I can see another top club swooping in for her or she simply walks back into the Barca lineup.

Obviously the hope is she does so well, we finish in the top five or six, and then maybe we have a genuine shot at signing her permanently. Time will tell…
