News broke last night on Veatriki Sarri’s Instagram that she will be moving on from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer:

It sounds as if, from the statement above, it was ultimately her decision to move on – or at least a mutual decision – and if she can get more first team football elsewhere then good for her!

Vea has been an excellent servant for the club and provided some much needed ingenuity and flair for the team down the left flank. She has also been incredibly gracious with the fans and is always one of the first to come over and chat with supporters, sign autographs and interact with the kids.

She’ll be missed as a person and as a player, so we wish her all the best here at Shegulls for whatever comes next!
