  • Team News: Vicky Losada returns after suspension. No new injury concerns, but Charlie Rule remains out.
  • Mikey says the players are still ‘training with intensity’ even with just three games to go. There is competition for places and everyone is ‘still hungry’. There is always something to play for and the team want to entertain and perform.
  • On the Everton game – thought on another day that we could have won the game. Stats were in our favour, possession, xG, chances created etc. Admits some aspects were pleasing, others disappointing.
  • Atmosphere at the Amex was ‘outstanding’.
  • On Spurs – they are a really good team and are ‘further along’ than we are. Possible to take lessons from their improvement, but we must stick to our own principles. Important to have a growth mindset and that is always looking to learn.
  • Can’t control whether Spurs have one eye on the FA Cup, can only focus on us.
  • Would have been great to have better results overall, but it is more important at the moment to stick to our core principles and get better every single game.

That concludes the press conference recap. Thank you to Brighton & Hove Albion and the team behind the scenes for letting us be a part of these events moving forward.
