Today, Friday 8th March is International Women’s Day!
We at SheGulls are so grateful for our strong female fanbase and wanted to do our part in raising both awareness and money!

So we are asking our fans to get involved and donate to Brighton Women’s Centre if they feel able. From their website:

We’re Brighton Women’s Centre and we’ve been supporting self-identifying women in Sussex for over 45 years. We help women from all backgrounds, facing all kinds of issues, to live happier lives.

Women dealing with bereavement or trauma, women who have been through homelessness or the criminal justice system, survivors of abuse or discrimination – we’ve welcomed them all.

As the day falls just before our FA Cup Quarter-Final tie with Manchester United, why not have some fun and pledge a certain amount based on the Albion’s performance? Here are some fun ideas:

• £5 for every goal Brighton score.
• £1 for every shot Brighton have on target.
• 50p for every shot Brighton have.
• 10p per 1% of posession Brighton have.
• £1 for every goal.
• £2 for every time the ball hits the post.
