A welcome, if expected, victory for the Albion yesterday as they hit Luton Town for six in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup 4th Round.
It wasn’t really a fair fight, Brighton restricted the hosts to just one single shot, and none on target, but they defended resolutely and held their own, particularly in the first half.
It wouldn’t be constructive to analyse the performance, such was the disparity in the teams, but hopefully this was a good way to knock some winter snow off the boots in preparation for a classic six-pointer against Bristol City on Sunday.
